Ginkgo Sprig Vessel is a small lidded container for precious things, be they pebbles, shells, or your dreams, wishes and intentions.

Ginkgo Sprig stands 6”tall and 7” wide at the tips of her graceful hardwood top handle. She is created from a tobacco box gourd and has a sculpted hardwood base base which is permanently adhered for a lovely design enhancement and maximum stability.

This sculpture is a perfect compliment to many interior styles and would be a happy addition both in-home and in-office.

Ginkgo Biloba is often called the “bearer of hope” due to its ability to survive in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. It’s legendary tenacity and vitality make it a potent symbol of hope and renewal. It also stands for resilience, peace, love, timelessness, and long life. Ginkgo is also associated with duality, a concept that recognizes the feminine and masculine aspects of all living things and is often expressed as yin and yang.

This piece of gourd sculpture is patiently and reverently Pyro-engraved with details of each line in every leaf and branch on the front. Her inky black finish was created by the use of heat set ink dye. Her leaves and branches include a hint of gold and layers of transparent green and golden alcohol inks. Her gently curving handle is made of brass and wood.

Her colors and design elements look as though she might have been made in another generation. She will last for generations to come with *proper care. Your new gourd sculpture will benefit in its own longevity if kept out of direct sunlight, away from moisture and cleaned very gently with a fine, soft, clean and DRY brush..or clean microfiber cloth.

Ginkgo Sprig can easily hold all of your dreams, hopes, visions and affirmations, however, she does not hold water.

**Many of my creations can be custom made and perfectly suitable for use as an end of life vessel. Please inquire for options. I offer design consultation and execution for urns for your two, four or more legged or winged and finned beloveds.

*Your artwork will benefit in its own longevity if kept out of direct sunlight, away from moisture and cleaned very gently with a fine, soft, clean and DRY brush..or clean micro fiber cloth.
