This Legacy Monarch Bowl is 9 1/2” high and 13” wide, and is a perfect compliment to many interior styles and would be a happy and sophisticated addition both in-home and in-office.

A single sculpted and applied Monarch in flight graces the gold leafed medallion, as if it is really lifting off from the bowl. A luscious and colorful gold leafed “belt” of handmade paper enhances the deep oranges and blacks of this miraculous butterfly. The same handmade paper coats the interior of the bowl.

There is a rich symbology. Butterflies are beautiful, mysterious and represent life, spiritual rebirth, transformation, change and hope. They can assure us of a right and true path, personal growth, enthusiasm and happinesses, especially with the colors of orange and black like our precious monarchs.

The matte black finish on the lower part of the bowl aids in showcasing the monarch adorned mid section as well as the sleek black pine needle rim.

Created in 2022, her beginnings were decades earlier on a farm in Northern California. She comes to you with a loving pedigree and you are the 4th set of hands to nurture her.

She will last for generations to come with proper care. Your artwork colors will benefit if kept away from heat and out of direct sunlight, away from moisture and dusted very gently with a fine, soft, CLEAN and DRY (free of oils or grease) paint or makeup brush. Use care when dusting the pine needle rim, it can catch and break tips off of the needles.

Do not use a soiled brush or the finishes will change over time. Too much oil from hands will degrade the finish.

From first look, one might believe it was created in another lifetime. And, while it can hold all of your dreams, hopes, visions and affirmations, it does not hold water and is not viable for every day use to hold fruit or other objects of weight.
