Maple Splash

When fall is near, you can count on those colors to show up in my work. When the end of summer has me dreaming of cooking soup and stoking a fire, the theme of one of my favorite trees, Japanese Maples, with their fall brilliance inspires me to get into that vibrant ink.

This mid sized cannonball gourd measures 8 Wide x 6 Deep x 6.5 inches Tall. It features an array of fall colors that gleam in the light. The top is comprised of brass, lava and home grown black bamboo.
