Pathway Vessel is made from a large gourd grown in Southern California. The natural markings were so special, I decided to enhance it rather than cover it. While sanding the inside, I dropped it and it cracked. I used the ancient art of kintsugi to repair it and adding this gilded element of adornment completes it perfectly.
Black long leaf pine needles create a simple finish to the top and a wooden stand supports with style and stability.
Protected with a satin finish UV polyurethane. Like all fine art, keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
