Pine Vessel Collection pieces express some of my favorite techniques. Pyro engraving (wood burning) is one of the most satisfying parts of creating my vessels. It is a simple and powerfully meditative practice that allows me to “paint with fire.” “Shinrin-Yoku” or forest bathing” emphasize therapeutic benefits of being in nature.
In this collection, each piece, is adorned with a sweeping pine branch, added sun/moon in gold leaf. The littlest piece in the collection has an adorable top that is the actual stem that it grew on! It was just too sweet of a shape not to keep it. If you know and love gourds, this one is simply perfect!
Protected with a satin finish UV polyurethane. Like all fine art, keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
