Umbrella Dream Vessel was created out of a tall body gourd. The top was cut & re-attached to form a “collar.” The skin was left natural to show off the 7 crimson umbrellas with tiny golden accents.
In Japan, red umbrellas are often seen as protective, bringing good fortune, beauty, and elegance. Protected with a satin finish UV polyurethane. Like all fine art, keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
